Director & Managing Director of MES
I joined Electoral Reform Services as an Adviser in 1994 having graduated in Government and Public Policy. After working extensively across all sectors of the business by the turn of the millennium my key focus became the development and introduction of digital voting systems in the UK.
As Head of Operations in 2004, I started focusing extensively on the health sector, and the new emerging democratic structures within it, advising the Department of Health on the new Foundation Trust legislation along the way.
In 2006, I founded a new subsidiary for the company, Membership Engagement Services (MES), which I have been the Managing Director of since. The services offered complement those provided by Electoral Reform Services perfectly; together we help organisations to connect effectively and meaningfully with their memberships, in turn improving their internal democracies.
Alongside my role as Managing Director of MES, I sit on the Electoral Reform Services Board, contributing to group-wide strategy and helping to ensure that the range of services provided by the Group continues to develop coherently, innovatively and most importantly, in line with the needs of our clients.
