Foundation Trust Governor Elections

Electoral Reform Services is the market leader in the provision of electoral services within the Foundation Trust sector and has administered over 90% of all Foundation Trust governor elections since the inaugural wave in 2004. In 2003 Electoral Reform Services provided advice and guidance on matters of electoral practice to the Department of Health Advisory Board, which shadowed the passage of the Foundation Trust legislation through Parliament.

Our extensive involvement with Foundation Trusts, together with our unrivalled experience in ballots and elections across numerous sectors, means we can offer a complete electoral and project management service, always striving to offer the highest quality and best value.

Electoral Reform Services undertake the following elements as standard within our electoral management service:

  • agreeing election timetables in accordance with an individual Trust’s constitutional arrangements;
  • assisting with governance arrangements;
  • issuing the formal Notice of Election;
  • handling of the nominations process (ensuring compliance of process, nominee liaison, validation of candidate applications);
  • handling all elements of the election (printing of literature, IT processes, candidate and membership services, despatch, receipt and scrutineering); and
  • issuing of results (election and uncontested reports).

The Trust will be supported at all stages of the process by a dedicated client adviser and the wider Foundation Trust team. In addition, your members and candidates are also able to call upon the services and support of our customer service representatives and the Client Advisory team at any time with their enquiries.

Should you appoint our subsidiary business Membership Engagement Services (see below) for your membership services, the two businesses will work together closely wherever needed to provide a truly, unique end-to-end service.
